The Tiny & Toya season finale airs tonight and i just want to thank everybody who tuned in and watched the show whether you liked it or hated it. If you tuned in earlier to BET 106 & Park Tiny and Toya was special guest on the show. I hear that they maybe a season 2 in the works.
Kandi Burruss and Tameka “Tiny” Cottle are giggling in the makeup room before their photo shoot. As they exchange playful barbs, surf the Net and talk business and fashion, it’s obvious that their bond extends beyond the frills of fame and reality of TV. It’s real, and it’s spanned nearly 20 years.
Tiny and KandiAlthough both of the former Xscape songbirds have found a new level of fame with their hit reality shows, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” and “Tiny & Toya,” they each remain decidely down to earth. Maybe that’s the reason their shows are No. 1 on their respective networks — they’re not simply egotistical reality stars, but easily relatable women who are going through the same things most of their audience is — from breakups to rearing their kids and struggling to maintain a sense of balance in their hectic lives.
Kandi, who is prepping to drop her new solo album in October (with features from Gucci Mane and Rick Ross among others) and Tiny, who is about to officially open her new upscale nail shop in an Atlanta suburb, are both fearless women with no qualms about sharing their experiences with the world.
Even so, their busy schedules haven’t kept them from making their friendship stronger than ever, and what’s more, it hasn’t deterred them from accomplishing their individual goals. Love them or not, they don’t really care. Just trust that they’re keeping it real. Read More…

I had the pleasure of speaking to Phaedra Parks via telephone several times and i must say she is a real down to earth person and would go above and beyond to help you if she can, if you don’t believe me just twitter her and she will respond. She is very spiritual and this is one person that if you ever cross paths with her one should feel privilege because Ms. Phaedra Parks is a one of a kind genuine person. This is a article that she did with Rolling Out magazine as Phaedra Parks drop science on Entertainment Law and Power Negotiations
“Tiny & Toya” Show Producer Phaedra Parks Talks Entertainment Law and Power Negotiations
Phaedra Parks isn’t your typical powerhouse entertainment attorney. Not only has she made an indelible impact on the careers of her clients, which include everyone from Jermaine Dupri to Bobby Brown, but she consistently breaks the mold for how lawyers are expected to think, look and act. “My practice is very different from most entertainment lawyers because I provide services beyond the four corners of the law” says Parks, who currently serves as a producer on BET’s hit series, “Tiny & Toya.” “We want to help our clients maintain a standard of living. We invest in their overall well being.”
In the 10 years that she’s been practicing law, Parks’ has maintained close relationships with her clients through her boutique law firm, The Parks Group, which focuses on litigation and contract negotiation. In fact, it is the genuine concern she has for her clients’ careers — and more importantly their lives — that keeps her motivated.
“Many of my clients have become like family,” says Parks, who says she was lead to practice entertainment law through the encouragement and support of her good friends, the late Island Def Jam executive Shakir Stewart, and top Atlanta radio personality Ryan Cameron.
That said, Parks goes beyond her job duties. She is known for helping her clients develop and maintain responsible financial habits — even going as far as taking them to the bank and helping them establish checking and savings accounts. As a woman in a male dominated industry, Parks’ diligence and dedication has helped her navigate her way to the top earning her numerous awards which include Super Lawyer, Attorney of the Year and Georgia’s Rising Star, to name a few.
