So So Def artists and Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed announced the boutique label’s 20 year anniversary at a City Hall press conference in Atlanta today.
So So Def Recordings, home to platinum-selling acts such as Xscape, Bow Wow, Jagged Edge and Da Brat, will celebrate 20 years of hit-making music at an All-Star Anniversary Concert on February 23 at the Fox Theater, it was announced at a press conference today at City Hall. Latocha Scott (Xscape), left, Dondria, center, and Tameka Scott (Xscape) are pictured above at the event.

Hey everyone i hope that everyone is having a wonderful summer and hope all is well with everyone. I want to apologize for not updating the site like i should. My daughter graduated this year and is heading to High School. I just want to take a minute to post this new track by Xscape’s very own Tamika Scott. The new single is called “So incredible” and it will be part of the movie soundtrack of the new Tyler Perry movie coming soon called “Good Deeds” Tamika wanted me to tell you guys hello and to thank you for all the love and support of all the music Xscape has put out as a group and individually. She is working hard in the studio and she very much would like her music to be in a totally different direction. So please let me and also let Tamika know how you like the track. On a side note my first youtube page was deleted some months ago and i am trying to get most of the tracks back up and i lost many of the files when my PC crashed over a year ago so youtube was the only file. Gah!! and double Gah!! so i am waiting for the ladies of Xscape to resend me what they had back then……..if they can even find it cause that is why they send it to me. LOL. I want to thank everyone who comes to this site and visit and check for updates, I know how much you guys love and appreciate great music especially when these ladies are underestimated. Although Xscape may never be a group again we just have to take them as they are individually as wonderful great talented women and i am happy to be great friends with them. Until later alligator or in awhile crocodile.
I watched the interview and i think Kandi did a good interview answering everything the best as she can and honestly but the chic doing the interview sucked she needed to get the facts straight before go in on any questions. From what i heard Jermaine never Interviewed any of the Scott sisters for his book if that was what said in the book based on the audio which had soo much music playing that you really could not hear Kandi answers but i will say that these ladies need to be on VH1 behind the music and just let whatever that’s in the dark come to a light. I remember the interview that took place when Tamika Scott of Xscape was on Hot 97 morning show interviewing with then radio personality Miss Jones.
I love all the ladies of Xscape and support everything and anything that they do. They could be on a highway selling flowers and i would still support them. The beef should be put the rest or come out with a reality show or something because you can NEVER get a group a complete answer to why the group really broke up. I am sure there are many sides to a story and the real story will surface i am sure. You basically heard from about all the members of why the group broke up except for one. R&B game will never be the same until Xscape come back and finish what they owe us
Any ways keep it locked for updates on the ladies of the R&B group Xscape. I know some of you guys be wondering why do i have to but R&B group in front of Xscape because there is another group name Xscape (rock) and if you google them you would get some snow Milton Keys whatever that is stuff.
I came across this Interview that was posted about a week or so ago that Kandi i guess did with Angela Yee
Kandi talks about Xscape not getting along, and destroying themselves. She says she wasn’t the one who left the group, it was another member who wanted to go solo. She then addresses crossing the line with Jermaine Dupri, and how one of the group members hated on her (this has to be either Tamika or LaTocha) and put her business out there during a radio interview:
